That’s right, half a million people have now read my articles over at EzineArticles. I started writing articles in 2006, and in 2007 I joined this article directory so that more people would read what I was writing about. The writing was mediocre, and I was not sure what to write about. I kept writing anyway. At some point I found my ‘voice’, and now I write every single day.
Article marketing got me into the habit of writing on a regular basis, and of thinking about how that writing could get more people to join my list to find out what I have to offer. I have repurposed those articles into blog posts, short reports, e-courses, eBooks, tip sheets, checklists, teleseminars, webinars, autoresponder messages, and more. You can do the same thing.
If you don’t know what to write about, choose a topic you are interested in. If you go all the way back to my first hundred articles you will see that I wrote about a whole variety of topics that were not related to my business. I needed to just keep writing in order to become a writer.
So how did I get 500,000 page views of my articles? Simple. I used keywords in my titles and within my articles in order to be found on Google and the other search engines for my topics. You can do the same exact thing with your writing.

Congratulations Connie. That is an achievement I am also striving for. Your example of writing one article a day shows that this goal is achievable by working to make a little progress every day instead of expecting instant success and quiting when you find out instant success is an illusion.
