Two years ago this month I challenged myself to write a hundred articles in a hundred days. I’m not sure what I was thinking at the time, but I knew that if I could come even close to meeting this challenge everything would change for me on the internet. Well, I did not write a hundred articles in a hundred days…it only took me 78 days! And it was true, nothing would ever be the same.
By making my challenge known to everyone I knew, both online and offline, I was motivated to find something to write about every single day. In the process I got into the habit of writing on a daily basis. The quality of my writing also improved. People began to read my articles and visit my blogs and web sites, and my business took off. I submitted my articles To EzineArticles first, and then to Article Marketer for even wider distribution.
When I see others working on their own article writing challenges I smile to myself. They will see that writing can be powerful, and that increasing your skill in this area is worth every minute you put into in. So take consistent action, and be sure to let me know how your writing is going.

Now that would be a challenge for me. I tend to be so nit picky that it takes forever to write just one article. I am getting better at content but it still seems like a lengthy process.

It’s very inspiring to read how you grew your writing through a challenge. I think that is something that I need to think about doing here soon. How did you come up with so many topics to write about and did you first list out your topics and then start the challenge?
