30 Day Power Blogging Challenge Begins

December 7, 2009 By Connie Ragen Green 147 Comments

Due to popular demand, I am bringing back the 30 day power blogging challenges we first did this summer. Those two challenges made a huge difference in the online businesses of those who participated, bringing everyone more traffic to their sites, more cicks through to their links, and more people on their lists. I can’t wait to get started with this once again.

Just to remind everyone, there are a few rules if you want me to promote you and your blog at the end of the 30 days. Here they are:

  • write 30 posts to the same blog during the next 30 days. You may post two or three times in one day, or simply post once a day for thirty days in a row.
  • the challenge ends on January 7. I will write a post on January 9 with the names and the URL’s of the blogs of those who complete the challenge.
  • no X rated blogs.
  • you must write at least 100 words for a post to count towards the challenge.
  • leave a comment on this post with your name and the name and URL of the blog you will be posting to
  • stay in touch on Twitter ( I’m @ConnieGreen) and I will retweet your posts.
  • tell others about the 30 day power blogging challenge so they can also participate
  • let’s have fun with this, knowing how good it will be for business!

I’m looking forward to this Connie – it’s a great incentive. I didn’t succeed last time – but although I feel a bit slow sometimes, I haven’t given up and this time I WILL DO IT!!!!

    I’m in and can’t wait!

I just built a new website with wordpress and had planned to put my blog inside of it….but not sure. Is it better to have a separate site for your blog? I did buy a domain for the blog, just haven’t decided what to do. I am in the process of copying my old blog to the new one. It’s been a good experience for me as I can see many things that I can do to improve my posts, mainly making them much shorter. In your last teleseminar you talked about how to make a long post into 2 posts. Do you have that info on one of your blogs?

    Thanks, Suzanne

Having met you at UnSeminar 7, at that moment I decided, this is a woman who has been where I am at and has moved forward with great success. Your challenge comes at the perfect moment…it is my intention to model the things you have done and blogging on my site is a great place to start. I have been distracted with another project for the last six weeks and my site katsvisiontwist has been neglected. I do, however, have notebooks all over the place with random writings that should be more than enough to meet this challenge.
My name is Kathryn Leavitt. My main site is http://www.katsvisiontwist.com with a sister site http://www.missguidedkat.com My Twitter ID is @missguidedkat and I accept your challenge.

    Hi Connie,

I’m in, however I’m still trying to get my site live to Bluehost from Christina Hills class. I think I may need to hire someone. Going to try one more time on my own this morning with the video tutorials, and if not, I’ll get help. I will have to catch up once I’m live. Writing them anyway and will just post later when live. Excited to do this! Thanks for the nudge!

    You’re wonderful! Thanks,

Sound fun … this is a goal I set for myself very recently – blogging once a day with passion. So far, I haven’t faltered – even on Sunday last when I thought I wouldn’t get anything posted, I managed to find something to write about.

    Valiantly on…

Cutressa – we are only on day 7, so you have lots of time to catch up. Sometimes I
write 2 or 3 posts at a time, and then I don’t write anything for a day or two.

I’m way late too, but going to give it a shot! I have a few organzing and admin tasks to complete for clients this week and then I have the next two weeks to focus on my biz. This is the perfect jump start I need to tackle the “blog project”. My website is http://www.jenniferhollander.com and I will be adding my blog to it soon. I currently only have a couple of entries for this project keeps getting pushed down my to do list. No more!!

Thank you for this great activity to create motivation in this area!

Jennifer – you can do this! You are focused for a couple of weeks and that’s all it takes. But don’t think of blogging as a project; your blog is your home on the internet, so make time to share your information with the world.

It’s a little late, and I’ve got a lot (8 posts!) to catch up, but I’m taking a deep breath and jumping in – it just looked too exciting and worthwhile to let it pass by. Thanks for starting this, Connie! Just wrote two posts yesterday to my blog, Fresh Green Image…if I keep that pace up for a bit, I should be right in synch.
