This year’s 30 day blogging challenge has been a very special experience for everyone involved. Friendships have developed across three continents, joint ventures have been born, and everyone has more traffic to their blog than they’ve ever had before. More than 120 people committed to the challenge when we began on May 10, and about half are still posting every day.
I want to do something to make it possible for those who dropped out, as well as those who found out about the challenge well after we began, to still be able to be a part of this incredible event. I have created the min-challenge, and this is how it will work:
- leave a comment here, whether you are new to the blog challenge or joining us for the first time, and tell us the name and URL for your blog
- post to that blog 10 times during the next 7 days (April 27 through May 3)
- each post must contain at least 150 words, even if there is a video included
- your full name must be on the blog, either in the header, on the front page, or on your ‘About’ page
Then connect with our group on Twitter. I’m @ConnieGreen there. The hashtag for this 7 day blogging mini-challenge is #mini7. Include that in your tweets.
For everyone who successfully completes the challenge I will write a post on May 11 that will include your name and a link to your blog. Trust me, this is good for your business. I will also invite everyone who finishes to a special webinar training, where we can take a look at everyone’s blog and listen to each other. This will be held on the morning of Saturday, May 15. Good luck, and let’s all get to work!

I can’t encourage folks enough to continue on this trek. The 30 day blog challenge is the best thing that has happened to me in years and I thank Connie from the bottom of my heart for her support and for introducing me to it. You can do 10 days of posts – just start writing. You can even do more than one at a time if you’re on a roll and then “schedule” them in WordPress so that they are posted each day. The 30 day folks will support you. Jump on Connie’s bandwagon – if she puts your name down you know it’s VERY good for business (she’s just being shy).

Great!
I loved the challenge, but after about ten days I realised that I had to change some things on my blog, including the URL. So no more challenge for me. But here comes Connie with this marvellous idea so “I am in!!”
my blog: http://spiritualambition.com
You can follow the blog on facebook at http://apps.facebook.com/blognetworks/blog/follow_your_spiritual_ambition/

OK, here we go again!

Hi Connie,
I guess I’m in this one by default — because I fell behind a bit, I’ll have 10 posts in the next 7 days for sure. This is a great way to get more activity mid-challenge and spur the original peeps on even more — thanks for keeping us going!

Hi Connie,
so glad I stumbled across this after reading first your email and then your twitter stream. This will be perfect. I’ve been stuck in product creation and niche website creation mode and have neglected my affiliate marketing blog terribly. This will be just the thing to get me back into the habit of blogging regularly.

Hi Connie,
I’m so relieved to see this mini-challenge! I put up some posts initially but wasn’t on Twitter. Got on Twitter this weekend (still learning how to use it) so even if I get no further than where I am today, I’m grateful — reading great blog posts from the #blog30 community, writing some new posts and I’m up on Twitter — yea!
Thanks for extending the support to us slower folks. OK, now to work on my post for today!

Been hearing about the 30 day challenge a lot this past week–I’m really glad you’ve created a special new door to get in on it. Sounds like exactly the motivation I need at this juncture–so I’m in.
My blog is new and well… “the boy just ain’t right” yet, but figuring out the remaining setup may give me some extra material to write about. It’ll be great to get into a daily routine with it.
Thanks again for the challenge.

Thanks so much for the Twitter Chat tip…that makes it a lot easier to follow along.
As far as an introduction goes: I’m Susanne Myers. I’m an affiliate and niche marketer and met Connie a few months ago at a conference in Wilmington, NC. I’ve been making a fulltime income with this since 2005 and recently started sharing some affiliate marketing tips on my blog at AffiliateTreasureChest.com. This is also the blog I’m using to participate in this mini challenge.
Rose Mattax says
OK, well, I’ll try this again. I’m Rose Mattax. My blog is called the Eden Project. The url is http://rose-mattax.blogspot.com/ And I hope I’m doing this right. Twittering is entirely new to me. But I’m having fun!
BTW, Connie…I found out about you and this challenge from Bobbye Middendorf.

I’ll jump into the mini challenge! …. However, my computer is about to bite the dust… just barely got it to come up today…. hopefully it will hang in there for the whole mini challenge. I’ve done this before (30 day challenge) and it was quite fun and yes good for business!
Thanks Connie! You’re the best!

Hi Connie,
I am in again! Thanks for the opportunity! The #blog30 got me so inspired that I redid my entire blog along the way… .But that doesn’t count for the challenge, So I’ll do at least the #mini7
Thank you Connie! Your work has been so inspiring and encouraging that I have been able to recreate my business and so much more.

Okay – I can’t hold out any longer. Everyone keeps telling me how great the blog challenge is (well, frankly, Connie is just plain NAGGING. 🙂 ) so guess I’ll need to join the mini 7. After all, I tell myself, surely I can write 10 articles in less than a week! LOL So here I go – I’m ready to JUMP! eeeeee
