List relationship marketing is the process of connecting with the people on your list over a period of time by relating to their specific wants and needs. You can build a lasting relationship with your prospects and customers through your autoresponder messages. This is one of the very best ways to build your online business in an organized way and to increase your income steadily over time. You will want to think about who is in your target audience, what they came to you for in the first place, and what type of information you plan to share with them over time.
You must know who is attracted to what you are doing online. Your target market is comprised of the people who find you through your keywords and then decide to join your list. They may have seen or heard about you through social media, on a teleseminar or webinar, or by meeting you at a live event. These are the people who feel that you have answers to their questions and solutions to their problems, and that you are the one to best help them. Get to know as much as you possibly can about your target audience so that you can best serve them.
Think about why they joined your list to begin with. You were offering a free giveaway of some type – a short report, an audio recording, or maybe a video – that they were so interested in that they gave you their name and email address in exchange for it. You must stay on topic with your list so that it will be a congruent and logical sequence of messages they will receive from you. Once you get off track even slightly, they are much more likely to unsubscribe.
You will want to give them a combination of tips and other solid content, as well as links to appropriate resources and other material. Finally, you will make them aware of offers, both from you personally and from affiliate relationships, so they may move forward in their area of specialization and you will make some money.
As you can see, it is important to know exactly who has joined your list and what they want to learn from you. You will then stay in regular contact with them to provide relevant content and resources, as well as letting them know about products, programs, and courses they would find most beneficial.

Obviously, steady and consistent contact is the key. I do have some marketers who e-mail me everyday that I eventually eliminate because it’s sell, sell, sell. As you suggest, mixing good relevant content in your e-mails is a much better approach.
I’m down to only 5 main marketers..

What better way to keep in contact Connie,
than strategic email follow up messages!
It’s incredibly affordable and extremely practical! And the vast majority of our competitors, are probably not taking
full advantage of it?
