I started writing articles and learning about article marketing at the beginning of 2007. At first I could not see the benefit of writing and submitting articles on a regular basis, but as my list began to grow and I became better known on the internet, I was finally a believer.
Article writing and marketing will help people find you, increasing your visibility and attracting the right people to your business. When someone has read one of your articles they understand more completely what it is that you can do for them, because you have positioned yourself as an expert in your field. As you continue to submit these articles to the article directories, they will be distributed to sites around the world. Someone who may never have heard of you will now be exposed to your information.
I have now written 725 articles, so my method of writing has changed somewhat over time. I make sure to keep my articles short – no more than about three hundred and fifty words – and I make a point in each article so that the reader can feel that they have not wasted their time. At the end of the article, in the bio or resource box, I offer further information by sending the reader to my blog, website, or to an affiliate sales page.
The result of writing these articles is that I have continued to build my list and increase my income every month during the past year. Each article works 24/7 as a sales agent, making it way around the world through the world wide web.
