I teach people how to write eBooks and create an info product they can sell on the internet. Creating this product is just the first step in the process; you then must market it to people who would benefit from your information.
This is why I also teach people how to write articles, blog, hold teleseminars, and write a sales letter. All of these things are necessary in order to make a profit online. Article writing is a relatively simple process. Once you get into the habit of writing and submitting your articles, it just becomes part of your regular work day. Blogging is similar; you can write down your ideas and then post to your blog about what you are doing and want to share with your readers.
Teleseminars and internet radio take some planning, but once you do them a few times you will actually look forward to connecting with your audience. When people hear your voice they make a connection with you that is very different from that of reading your articles or blog posts.
The biggest obstacle seems to be with writing a sales letter. Some of my best students still do not see the importance of this part of the marketing strategy. You can sell from sending emails to your list, social networking sites, and teleseminars, but you absolutely must send people to a sales letter if you want to make any real money.
The sales letter describes in detail what you have to offer. Writing web sales copy is different from print copy, but the outcome is the same – people want to know exactly how they will benefit from what you are selling before they are willing to pull out their wallets. You can download a copy of my copywriting checklist to see what the elements are that you need to include. I teach copywriting in each of my courses so that the process becomes as painless as possible.

Your information is always value-packed and right now…timely.
I’ve been dragging my feet on the sales letter…I’ve implemented everything else you mentioned, and the sales letter just moved from my “to do” to my “must do” list.
Thanks Connie!

I am working on a sales letter now and I think you are totally correct! The sales letter is key. I think it is a great way to point out each and every benefit you offer to customers. I make sure that my sales letters let people know that I “get” them by talking about the challenges that my products can help them overcome and what that will do for them.
I teach coaches how to start and grow a coaching business so I try to talk about all the reasons a coach may not have their business thriving as they would wish. I also talk specifically about how my products and services will benefit them and their clients.
