I had a scare this week. After more than two years of posting to this site, my blog crashed on Monday afternoon. It was all my fault. Instead of changing over to the hosting company I teach my students to use, I left my hosting with the company I buy my domains from. This was not smart, and I have learned my lesson.
I won’t go into the details here, but suffice it to say that cPanel hosting is the only way to go if you have an online business. They are equipped to deal with everything you may need so that you can run your business on the internet.
My brilliant web designer was able to completely reconstruct this site within 72 hours, and I will be thankful to her forever. Make sure you are backing up your blog and other sites regularly, in case the unthinkable happens to your site.
While I was getting everything organized I uploaded a new theme, so if you were wondering if you were at the right place, that is why. I hope you like my new look and feel.

Connie,
Good to see you were able to recover from the scare. I once lost an entire site to a malicious database hacker. I still have all of the pieces, but I have yet to put the site back together. It’s in such a horrible state! Since then I back up my sites regularly.

PS. Like the new theme!
