Believe it or not, I am an introvert. You may have heard me speak, either at a live event or on a teleseminar, but that really isn’t where I am the most comfortable. I prefer to be away from the crowds, writing and doing my own thing. But attending live events is the very best way to connect with people who are interested in what you do and to meet new people from around the world. It will also help you to build your online business more quickly.
This weekend I am at Pat O’Bryan’s UnSeminar. I have followed Pat since his book – Your Portable Empire – came out about two years ago. The fact that I will be able to speak on the same stage as he and Joe Vitale is more exciting than I ever could have dreamed or imagined.
I encourage you to choose a live event to attend. It will change your life. I now travel to about 5 or 6 of these events each years, either as a speaker or an attendee, and have met people and had experiences that I could never have had by staying at home and working from my computer.

I will be attending NAMS in Jan. and I’m very excited. I would like to attend a few other events in 2010 as well because I know they are worth it. When I was in direct sales our conventions were amazing and really got us pumped up so I can only imagine what these blogging, affiliate marketing, etc. events will be like.
