I am so blessed to be surrounded by many wonderful people, both students, and mentors, who have helped me to change my life during the past two years. My wish for you, my reader, is that you find exactly what you want to do online. Once you find a niche that speaks to you, anything is possible.
As I sit outside on this cool clear evening in southern California, I gaze upon tonight’s ‘blue moon’ and wonder why so many people are still having difficulty making a living on the Internet. There is no one answer, or else everyone would be enjoying the time and financial freedom that comes with the lifestyle. I believe everyone can achieve success online, as long as they are willing to take steps in the right direction.
One of these steps took me more than a year to overcome. This was not listening to those who were making more money than I was already. I was sure I had a better way, and wanted to do what felt right for me. I was going nowhere until I finally stepped back and listened to the people who were trying to guide me in the right direction. Don’t be a know-it-all when it comes to building your business; you have two ears and one mouth for a reason.
Another step was to stop saying ‘I know that’. If I already knew it, why wasn’t I doing it? Now I listen, learn, and implement. I know it when I do it.
The final step was to do what I believed could not be done. My confidence level was low due to previous work situations and lack of positive role models in my life. The people I am now surrounded with have shown me that it’s alright to take risks and to do that thing you thought you could not do. That is how I began creating products, speaking on stage, and becoming a top affiliate for people much wiser than myself.
My wish for you is success, whatever that means to you. As I write this final post for 2009, I dream of helping you to achieve this success in 2010. Tell me what you need from me and I will be there for you.

Connie, thanks for the good wishes and your wonderful guidance. So often we know what to do, but we just aren’t doing it.
So many excuses…not enough time, something else to learn, some other distraction. Thanks for making things simple, and for being a role model showing us how it can be done.

Most of all, I want to wish you a wonderful year ahead. I’m excited about all the new things you have planned for 2010. See you soon!

Hi Connie, a happy New Year to you too! As I joined Pat’s coaching program it was a step for me like the one you describe. Listening to those who are doing what I want to do!
Greetings,
Claus 😀

This is good, Connie. “I KNOW it when I DO it.” Matt Bacak says Success Leaves Footprints. This makes perfect sense.
