Affiliate Marketing – Make Money With Other People's Products

Affiliate marketing is the process of promoting other people’s products and services and receiving a commission when something is sold through your affiliate link. This is how I started making money online before I had my own products and services to sell.

The first thing to do is to sign up for a free account over at Clickbank. This will give you access to tens of thousands of digital products you can promote online. Then go to Clickbank Prosearch and sign up for a 30 day trial. This is the place to find the exact products from Clickbank, and they help you search by keyword. It is $40 for a one year subscription, but one year will be all you need.

You can also promote the products and services of people whose programs you have taken online. For example, I have many affiliates who earn commission every month by promoting one or more of my products, programs, or courses. I learned much of what I know from Willie Crawford’s book on 20 Ways To Make $100 A Day Online. I now use about 15 of the 20 ways he describes in this book. It is 247 pages long and sells for $27, so I knew it was a good value. Now I recommend it to all of my students.

The easiest way to promote other people’s products is by writing articles, but that takes some time. There are so many ways to become as affiliate marketer that it will be your choice how you want to do this. During 2008 almost half of my income was derived from affiliate marketing; you can do the same in 2009.
