You may not be aware of this, but you can be on Amazon even if you do not have a book or other product for sale on their site. The way you do this to write an honest review of someone else’s book or product. Then you complete your profile, upload your picture, and include a link back to your own blog or website.
The product I reviewed earlier today is from one of my favorite people – Jim Edwards. I have learned so much from him over the past three years. His monthly program, the Net Reporter, has taught me more about technology and marketing than what I learned while working on a master’s degree in technology. In fact, Jim’s monthly program was the incentive and motivation I needed to move on to teaching with webinars instead of just using teleseminars.
I encourage you to write your own review of a book or product that has changed your thinking or your business. This will benefit the author by letting others know what you took away from their information and how you have incorporated it into your own life. It will benefit you by giving you the opportunity to be found on Amazon and to have a link from them back to your site.

That’s a really good tip that I never thought of doing and it’s so easy. Thank you!

Greetings Connie and all,
I truely enjoy your blog entries and look forwards to them. They are a part of my tutorial on Internet Business.
This posting about Amazon reviews struck a special cord with me because I have been doing this for a while now. I do book reviews and product reviews as well.
One hint I wish to pass on which helped me is when you create your profile with Amazon to review, in the space for your “signature’ put your website address. this is a sure fire way to get a back link to your site.
Thank you Connie for all the wonderful help you have given me!
