That’s the question every political candidate seems to ask when they want our vote in the election. They want to know if we feel like we are doing better now than we were when their opponent was last elected into office. That seems to be a matter of perspective, unless you take a closer look at your facts and figures.
What about your online business? What are you able to do now that you couldn’t do just one year ago? You may be surprised at my answers to this question. Even though I teach online marketing and technology, it doesn’t come naturally to me. One year ago I was perfecting my webinar technique and was also just starting to create and produce my own videos. I’ll bet you can do a whole lot more now than you could this time last year.
At a time when many people are making resolutions, mine seem to be a little bit different from the norm. I have resolved to start drinking coffee again – after a 35 year hiatus – and I’ve also resolved to spend less time exercising. I have decided that caffeine may actually be a positive influence in my life, and that exercising endlessly has not been getting me the results I am looking for.
What will you change in 2010? It’s not about giving up something or promising to do a particular thing. I believe you will be better off a year from now if you make some conscious choices that will affect your life in the direction you are moving towards. What are your thoughts on this?
