Article writing is the easiest way to build your credibility in your niche. But once you have written a number of articles your next goal is to build your visibility online by distributing these articles to the widest possible audience. This is done in a number of ways, including submitting them to article directories, such as Ezine Articles, and distribution services, such as Article Marketer Free. Using both of these methods in combination will give you the best possible results.
My first year online I was only aware of the article directories. Many thousands of people read my articles, but this was dependent upon me using the right keywords in my article titles and readers going to the directories to search for the exact topic of my articles within the categories available at the directory site. This was not the best use of my writing and my time, and my business did not grow as quickly as it could have during this time.
I currently submit every article I write to both the directories and the distribution service. Now that I am writing longer articles, 400 to 500 words in length, the distribution service, Article Marketer Free, is able to get my articles out to sites around the world. My Google rankings have increased significantly, and my list is growing at a much faster pace. I encourage you to do the same thing to give you the best opportunity to build your online business with article marketing.

How do you know where the submitter is submitting them? I’d still want them submitted to a few specific directories

I’m now over there putting 4 articles up on my ADD Medication series, as so many continue to walk into my door without having a clue about dosage strategies! I am starting with your technology class Connie and I am trying to write my first article. My problem with writing in the past has been I get bogged down trying to make the article perfect from a literary point of view. I find I can edit for hours. Here is my new plan. I will write an article then do one edit then save it and come back the next day for the final edit. Maybe that will save me some time. There is no way to write an article a day if it takes 3 hours to write one.
