I just came back from four days in southern California at Adam Urbanski’s conference. I like to attend these type of events for several reasons. One is that it takes me out of my comfort zone, because I typically do not know anyone ther before I arrive. Meeting new people in person, many of whom know me from Facebook and Twitter, helps me to connect with people on a different level.

There is an entire strategy on how to make the most of these events. Besides spending time with people you have a common interest with, you can also turn it into future business for yourself.
