I just came back from four days in southern California at Adam Urbanski’s conference. I like to attend these type of events for several reasons. One is that it takes me out of my comfort zone, because I typically do not know anyone ther before I arrive. Meeting new people in person, many of whom know me from Facebook and Twitter, helps me to connect with people on a different level.
There is an entire strategy on how to make the most of these events. Besides spending time with people you have a common interest with, you can also turn it into future business for yourself. I learned these strategies from ‘DJ’ Dave Bernstein and copywriter Ray Edwards. I had attended conferences and seminars for years without giving a thought to preparing before I ever left home. These days I arrive at these events ready to take my business to the next level.
Now each seminar is even more enjoyable because I usually make money, build my list, and meet new prospects while I am there. I also know which events will be worth attending and which ones to skip. Just the joint ventures alone more than make up for the time and money I invest by attending.
My energy level is also boosted when I attend a live event. Everyone is excited and it helps me to remember why I love working online.
So get out of the house and get going to the right seminars and conferences for your business. Be sure to check out this program to learn what I and so many others now know. It will change your perspective on how you approach these lucrative events.

Hi Connie,
Great reminder to everyone who thinks working online consists of ONLY sitting behind your computer with only a picture or avatar to represent you!
It would have been an incredible loss (unknown, but still a great loss) if I hadn’t gone to Adam’s workshop and met you in person.
Thanks for the reminder to us all…
Sandy 🙂

Connie,
Thanks for being — so real, accurate, courageous, funny, and generous. I echo Sandy Martini’s comments. And, after you and I have known each other for so long online and by phone, it was, indeed, great to finally meet in person. Now, what will it take for you to stop announcing those parties at my house? 🙂
I’m grateful to have you in my circle and for allowing me and my people into yours.
Paulette
