Over the past two years I have been slowly building my list. This is a group of people that I consider to be my tribe – my extended family. I love and respect them because they are the only reason I am online right now, able to make my living from home by doing what I am passionate about. If you are reading this, then you are part of the group I am talking about.
You trust me to provide you with good information on technology, online writing, blogging, and more. But along with that trust on your part comes responsibility on my part. I am responsible to only guide you to what I know will work and be of value to you – even if it isn’t directly from me.
I see marketers who promote every product they possibly can. They email their list every day with a new offer and the latest ‘great product’. Many people buy everything that is offered, only to find out later on they have a hard drive full of useless information and a big credit card bill to pay.
My promise to you is this – I will continue to share my knowledge and experience with you on my free weekly teleseminars and in my courses. When there is a product or service someone else is offering I will give you my honest opinion about whether this is right for you. If you are not sure, feel free to email me or send me a tweet on Twitter. I will talk you out of things that are not valuable to you and persuade you towards things that will help you to accomplish your online goals.
Sound fair enough?
Joel Suggs says
…And it’s this honesty that makes you attractive to the right (honest) people…’birds of a feather’, eh?
