When I finally put the pieces together back in 2006, allowing me to start making real money from my online business, I broke it down into 3 major parts. Once I began to think of my business in this way everything changed for me.
The first part includes setting up a website or blog, or simply an opt in page. This enable people to find you online and to sign up for your free giveaway and more information. I collect names and email addresses from people here on my blog, as well as on a website and an opt in page. People then receive a free report or teleseminar recording from me so they know what to expect from my style of teaching.
The second part involves building your list of subscribers. I post to my blog daily, write articles daily, hold regular teleseminars, stay active on Facebook and Twitter, and comment in several forums. This helps to bring in a steady flow of new people to my list every single day.
The third part of an online empire comes from creating your own products or promoting someone else’s products as an affiliate. You cannot make any money unless there is something for sale. I started out with affiliate marketing, and now do a combination of creating and selling my own products as well as promoting the products and services of those I have used and benefited from.
Spend at least 30 minutes every day in each of these three areas and your business will grow exponentially. I know this because it has worked for me and countless others.

Very clear explanation Connie. Someone could get going with their business just by studying this post.
And you’re quite explicit about us needing to do all three areas. Neglect one and it won’t work.

Thanks Connie, your writing is very clear. Any ideas on how to come up with daily articles? I hope to be following your advice now that I’ve met you.

hello from beautiful Montana:
Nice summary of what you teach. Once you get into the habit of writing it is easy (or at least easier).
Looking forward to learning and sharing with you for many years to come.
