This week marks one year since I began to earn around five thousand dollars per month, strictly through my work on the internet. There were times when I did not know if I would ever increase my online earnings, and several times I even thought about giving up. Now I can honestly say it was worth everything I did to be able to work from home and connect with people from all over the world.
I have written about this several times and talked about it during my teleseminars regularly during this past year. Making money on the internet is simple, but it is not easy. Allow me to explain.
When I finally took action in 2006, the various assignments I gave myself each day were relatively simple. I wrote blog posts, such as this one, wrote short articles, promoted several affiliate products, and began to do teleseminars periodically. I also created my first product, which was a simple program on how to write online and make money with affiliate products. This product sold for $97. All of these are simple tasks, but implementing the strategies necessary to be successful was the difficult part.
That is why I have worked with several mentors, and continue to do so. I stay with a mentor as long as they are thinking of my best interests and are able to help me to increase my bottom line. The mentor I currently have has a team of more than a dozen people who help me when I am ready to move on to the next stage of my online business. I will stay with him for the next several years.
I now make more than 10K each month online, and that number increases each month. This is because I continue to do the simple things, and have a strategy for taking it all to the next level. You can do the same thing in your online business.

I can hardly wait for the day that I can make $5000.00 a month. I am excited about the possibilities and like you I am not afraid of hard work. What was the single most important step that you took that put you on the road to success?

I stumbled upon your show on Blog Talk Radio & now every encounter leaves me more & more impressed. I’m inspired & determined to make this work but more importantly to do it right. I believe I’ll be plugging into the resources that you offer on a regular and formal basis now. Any advice on quickly getting past the “newbie information overload” stage? 🙂
