Once in awhile I think back to 3 years ago, when every Monday was the start of a work week that I was already dreading. After working all weekend in my real estate business, I would make the long drive, usually in the dark, to the school where I was teaching. I would pull into the parking lot of the post office near the school and write an article or a blog post before going on to school and into my classroom.
Thank God those days are long gone. Now Monday is just another Saturday to me, filled with fun and exciting tasks that I can’t wait to do to keep on building my online business. This month marks three years since I worked as a classroom teacher, real estate broker, and residential real estate appraiser. In fact, next month I will not be renewing my appraisal license, after having it for exactly twenty years!
How did I make the jump from 60-70 hour weeks to working from home about 25 hours each week? By making a plan, learning what I needed, and never, never, never giving up! Anyone can do what I have done. Begin by deciding what you want to change in your life and then deciding to make the change. That may sound oversimplified, but it is the truth. Change begins first in your mind and then in your actions. What do you want to change about the life you are living?

Thanks for the great advice Connie, you should know, you’ve done exactly that. I would like to add that it helps to identify your passions so that making a plan and taking action is much easier and that’s exactly what I help people do, and I’m passionate about it.
