I am a list relationship coach, meaning that I teach people how to make huge profits from even a tiny list. In order to make big money from your small list, one with fewer than a thousand names, you must remember why they came to you in the first place. This may be the most important thing to keep in mind when you begin to connect with them and to promote your own and affiliate products to them. These prospects are much more than just numbers on your list; they are the people that will determine if you are successful or not in your quest to build an online empire. Think about this as you write your emails, choose the products and courses you will promote, and respond to your prospects individually. Straying off the path and offering them off topic information will not serve you well over time.
Writing an email to your list should be a personal communication between you and each of them. What I mean by this is that you need to write as though you were writing to just one person. The highest compliment you will ever receive is when someone thinks you have written only to them when you send out an email to your entire list. This is an art, so do not be surprised if it takes months, or even years, before this happens to you.
Right from the very beginning, I wrote my emails as though I were writing to a hundred thousand people. Even though I wrote to just one person, I pretended that my list had grown exponentially. I did this because I began to hear people say that you couldn’t make any real money online until you had at least ten thousand on your list.
I did not believe that, so I devised my own method of writing to one person and making believe they were one out of one hundred thousand. None of us knows what number we are on someone else’s list. Also, why would we do things differently when we reached a certain number of prospects? That just doesn’t make sense.
Instead, I recommend doing what you plan to do from day one. Keep in mind why the people on your list came to you to begin with, and then serve their needs accordingly. Stay in tune with what they want and need to know, and then provide them with as much information as possible. This will help you to make huge profits with even a very small list.
