I’m not talking about food here; I’m referring to the emails we all receive each day from people trying to sell us the latest, greatest product to help us make money online. You know what I’m talking about here. Let me give you some examples:
- Drive all of the traffic you want in the next 24 hours!
- Build your list to 10,000 names this week
- Earn full-time income from part-time hours
Do these sound familiar?
I was speaking to a new coaching client the other day. She was telling me that it took her more than two hours each day to read the emails from the people who were helping her to make money on the internet. I politely corrected her. I told her that she is receiving emails from professional marketers who want her to buy their products.
This is my recommendation. The next time you get one ofthose emails hit ‘reply’ and ask a question about the product they are promoting. If you receive an answer within 48 hours or so that answers your question, stay on that list and take a closer look at what they have to offer. If you do not hear back from them, scroll to the bottom of their email and unsubscribe. You are probably receiving canned messages in an autoresponder sequence that was set up a year ago or more.
When you are ready to achieve success in your online business, find a mentor to learn from. Ask questions. Listen to what they are teaching. Implement this training by taking action.
That’s it. Stop snacking and get back to work!

Connie, what a great post and right to the point! Personally, I am so very guilty of “snacking.” I receive way too many of those exact kinds of emails every day. I am trying to do away with this clutter of so-called Marketing experts who want to sell me products to make huge instant sums of money online.
Going through the multitude of emails is time-consuming and unproductive. I am going to follow your suggestion and ask questions back at the senders to see if I get replies. Otherwise I will be hitting the link for “unsubscribe.”
Thanks for this insight. With you, I know that if I reply to your email with a question, you have always responded within a day. And you provide such informative, practical tips and training about getting up and running productively on the internet.
As always — thanks for an enlightening post!
