For the past three years I have marketed for a few small service businesses. It started when I was just getting started with blogging and article marketing. People I knew personally hired me to blog and write for them. This expanded to me setting up social media sites for them and interviewing them on internet radio. I now teach people to market for small businesses as a full time freelancer.
I recommend starting out with a close friend or family member. Market for them for a month or two at no charge, just to get a feel for what needs to be done to bring these people online. Many already have a website, but that is all. With just a little bit of time and effort you can help them to have an online presence that will make their phone ring.
I’ll be talking about this on a teleseminar next week. Leave your name and email address in the form at the upper right hand corner if you would like to be invited to this call. I find that doing this type of work keeps my skills sharp and earns me more money than I used to make working ten times as many hours. It helps the small business tremendously, and it’s fun!
