This is a well known quote from Sir Winston Churchill, and has been one of my favorites since coming online. On a webinar earlier this week we talked about how difficult it can be to start making money online. This is a very different world than what any of us has known, and it can be extremely frustrating trying to put all of the pieces together.
I always say that anyone in their right mind would have given up during the first year, but I was persistent and it has paid off well. I am now able to work about 25 hours each week, travel whenever and wherever I like, and meet people from around the world. The creative side of me has also emerged, allowing me to develop courses and programs that will help my students to build their own online empire.
If you are wondering why you are blogging, writing articles, and twittering, remember that it will all come together with the help of a Mentor to guide you. Never give up and you will achieve the success you want and deserve.
This is great advice not only for building a new business for also for Re-building your own body. What a great analogy; you want to start a new business but it’s so hard, it’s so much work! Or…you want to get relief from pain but it takes so long, it’s so much work!
In both cases this is true. But, in both cases, it pays off. Finally the new business begins to earn income. Finally your body becomes more comfortable and you regain function.
Never, never, never give up!
This is helpful infrmation. It is very hard getting started online and with advertising expenses climbing many of the techniques you list about article writing, blogging and using Twitter or great low cost are resources to drive traffic. If you use Twitter you know how powerful getting you message retweeted is for promoting your message, cause, products or link.
