You may want to attract new readers and visitors to your blog by talking about holidays and other current events in your post titles. Several times each year I write a post about the holiday or about something that is in the news. I stay away from anything controversial, but there is still much that you can easily connect to your niche topic.
I read most of my news from the internet and from magazines, so they are always talking about something that ties in with what I do on the internet. Whether your niche is organic gardening, arthritis pain, or losing weight, tie something newsworthy into some of your posts.
This is something I learned from Joan Stewart, the Publicity Hound, whose best publicity tips of 2008 is now available at no cost. Joan is a wealth of information, and the foremost expert in her field. Learn as much as you can from her, and don’t be afraid about sending press releases to tell the world what you are doing. You will be glad you did.
