I am often asked if purchasing traffic to a website, blog or sales page is effective. My answer is that traffic generated from any source other than your own content is never going to be as good as that you receive from readers and prospects who find you through your blog posts and articles.
Google has a program called AdWords. It is also referred to as pay-per-click and is available from other sites in addition to Google’s program. I have used AdWords off and on throughout the past two years, with varying levels of success. This program allows you to bid on specic keywords and keyword phrases in order to send traffic to your site or sales page. You write a small ad and target the exact people you are looking for.
I started my AdWords campaign again last night, in order to experiment once again with this process. I will keep you updated on my success. Before you jump in to any type of pay-per-click advertising, sign up for Perry Marshall’s free course.
