After thinking about and researching the idea of setting up my own membership site for almost a year, I am finally taking action and getting it set up this month. I am very excited about this, and know that my current students will be anxious to have access to the courses and content I will be adding over the next few weeks.
I had looked into several programs that offer membership site setup, but each was either too complicated, too expensive, or both. Instead, I waited until I found the perfect solution for my memebrship site, and it is less than one hundred dollars!
I will be using a WordPress plugin that does everything you could ever want. It’s called WishListMember, and was created by Stu McLaren and Tracy Childers, two amazing young internet marketers. They are part of a mastermind group I am in, and when I heard them talk about this I knew I had to find out more.
If you are looking for a simple solution to a complicated process, check out what they have created. This plugin turns any WordPress blog into a full membership site, with the ability to create several membership levels; free, paid, or trial options; and full integration with both PayPal and 1 Shopping Cart. If it sounds like I am excited, that’s because I know two other people who have been using this, and they agree that WishListMember is the best thing since sunshine.

Good for you, Connie! I’ve noticed more and more marketers implementing continuity programs lately. Sounds like WishListMember is the answer to your prayers.
You are living, breathing proof that sometimes patiently waiting things out has its rewards. Had you jumped right in with both feet and purchased one of the other programs, you most likely would have had bigtime regrets … not to mention a migraine headache the size of Alaska.
Thanks for introducing us to Tracy and Stu. I am now following them both on Twitter. It was very sad to hear that Stu and Amy were so close to adopting a child and then the adoption agency filed bankruptcy. My heart goes out to them and I hope and pray they can adopt real soon.
