Should I Write An eBook If My Business Is Offline?

This is the question I have been asked most in the past month or so. As people begin to feel the pinch of the downturn in our economy, they are looking for ways to supplement their income while still maintaining their offline business. This is what I tell them.

Having a special report and an eBook will give you an advantage in business, whether you work exclusively online or have a bricks and mortar business. You can give these away to prospects and clients, or begin to sell information about your business on a one page website. Either way you will see an increase in your income and begin to build passive income that will grow exponentially over time.

Begin to write down important ideas that people would need to know if they came to you to do business. Think about everything you know that the average person does not. Whether you are a massage therapist or a house painter, you have specialized knowledge that others could benefit from. Don’t give in to the recession; take your business online and global and you will see it all very differently.
