The Mentor-Mentee Connection – Learning Goes Both Ways

Suzan Schmitt has been one of my mentees for about 5 months now. I like to spotlight my students when they achieve a level of success, and Suzan earned that distinction early on. She teaches coaches how to get more coaching clients, and draws from her background in marketing to help others in their businesses.

This is a good example of the mentee helping the mentor. Suzan’s extensive marketing knowledge has helped me to focus on my business in a different way. I have been a teacher for more than twenty years now, and have always believed that you can learn as much from your students as they can learn from you.

Suzan reminded me that no matter what business you are in, online or off, it’s all about the marketing. We don’t buy from the person or company who has the best price or product; we tend to buy from the one who has the best marketing plan.
