I am in Raleigh, North Carolina this week with Armand Morin and the rest of my mastermind group. We are a group of about 45 people from around the world, and we meet in person three times a year, as well as having monthly webinars and daily online group interactions. Fifteen of us are here this week, and I am again energized by the power of the mastermind.
Before coming online at the end of 2005, almost 5 years ago now, I had not heard about the concept of masterminding. Napoleon Hill wrote about it in Think and Grow Rich, but somehow that didn’t seem to apply to me. Now that I am with this group I see that everyone could benefit from being in a mastermind.
Our group is quite diverse. Most of the members are not working in the Internet marketing niche online. The insights, resources, and personal development that has taken place here is phenomenal, and I feel fortunate to be a part of it.
I encourage you to find a group of people to meet with on a regular basis. Make the commitment to work together, and you will be amazed at what transpires.

I love mastermind groups. I have been in large groups like yours and very small ones with just 2 or 3 people. Regardless of how big or small your group is, it is helpful to have people that share their goals and hold you accountable for getting stuff done. It’s also nice to see how others are doing that are on a similar level of success as you. Plus they likely have overcome some of the issues you are facing and can point you in the right direction.

You are so right Connie. I am a member of a smaller mastermind group and it has truly made a huge difference in my business and my life in general. We talk on the phone at least once a week and via email. We hold each other accountable, inspire, encourage and lift each other up. We play devils advocate for each other, bat around ideas and critique for each other. It’s a wonderful thing and I highly recommend everyone find a group to mastermind with, as well.

This is a very valuable business tool and a strategy that needs to be used by anyone who is serious about success!! I am sold on the fact that accountability is one of the best ways to move yourself and your business forward. We tend to step up our game and play bigger when we know others are counting on us and cheering us on. I believe that the more you share what you are working on and get support, feedback and encouragement on your targets, the closer you are to checking them off your list.
One of my biggest goals is to qualify to join the platinum mastermind group. I am working hard and I have accountability set up… just a matter of time.
Thank you so much!!

I’m involved in a MasterMind Group and some weeks it’s the thing that keeps me going. I think this is a great article and believe that everyone should be involved in at least one MasterMind Group. The longer you belong the closer you become to the other members of the group and it helps tremendously in trusting what they tell you.
Thanks for the great article,
Linda
