Driving massive traffic to your blogs and websites will accelerate your online business. It will also allow you to test out what is working and what needs to be changed within days, instead of weeks or months. The idea is that if more people visit your sites you will receive the feedback you need and be able to build a profitable business much more quickly.
You can generate traffic, or visitors, to your sites in a variety of ways. There is always Adwords, but I want to share some of the best ways to get free traffic to your blog and website. These techniques include article marketing, commenting on other people’s blogs, and making sure the html tags on your pages are set up correctly.
Article marketing will always be one of my favorite ways to find highly targeted visitors to your sites. This is because those who are searching for your topic on Google or one of the other search engines are more likely to read your articles if they answer their questions and solve their problems. For example, if I need help with housebreaking my Yorkshire terrier puppy, I may end up finding your article on this topic. When I finish reading what you have written, and agree that your information has been helpful to me, then it is even more likely that I will be inclined to click on the link in your resource box to get more information on how to solve my problem. Be sure to use your keywords in the title of these articles.
Commenting on blogs is a traffic technique that is often overlooked or discounted as a valuable source of targeted traffic. Go to a site such as Technorati, the largest blog directory in the world, and search for blogs on your niche topic. Then frequent these blogs to see what you can learn and to improve upon your level of expertise. Leave a comment on one of the posts that it is of interest to you. By commenting on a post with an intelligent and insightful point of view, other readers will be more likely to want to follow your link back to your site to learn more about what you know on this topic.
Whenever I talk about html, hyper text markup language, many people’s eyes just glaze over. Don’t be afraid to learn just a few things about this that can help you to get even more visitors to your sites. The most important is your title tag. You want Google and the other search engines to know exactly what your page is about. Also learn about the Meta description and Meta keywords tags. This is where you can include your keyword phrases to drive the specific traffic you are looking for to all of your sites.
As you can see, it is possible to use free techniques to drive massive traffic and visitors to your pages, blog, and other sites on the Internet.
