Whether you are writing blog posts, articles or your ebook, keep the writing simple. Use short sentences and break up the page by maintaining enough ‘white space’. It is too difficult for your readers to have to plow their way through long blocks of text when reading online. Also, do not use words, phrases, or acronyms that people will not be universally familiar with. Write in a conversational tone like you are talking to your reader in their living room.
With your ebook, make the font size large enough for it to be read on the computer. About half of your readers will read it on their computer screen so it must be easy on the eyes. Use simple graphics to make it more appealing to the eye and use a font that is easy to recognize. The key is to keep your readers interested, give the information you have in a clear and concise manner, and make the experience an enjoyable on for everyone. And, most of all, keep it simple.

Dear Connie
I found this article very interesting.
If you remember you suggested to me that I write about losing my husband, well I have this story that I have been writing for years, almost ever since my husband passed away. I keep editing it, but up to now have not known what to do with it!! Maybe I should issue it as an ebook?
I was actually working on it yesterday with this in mind.
I could send it to you if you would like me to, for your comments?
Linda
