Your eBook Is Not A Business!

Writing an eBook is always a good way to promote yourself and your business, but it is not a business all by itself. You must think about this if you want to be successful and make money on the internet.

An eBook sets you apart from others in your niche. You must give your best information in the eBook, and then go on to create teleseminars, audio recordings, workbooks, and other products based on the information contained in your eBook. Think of the eBook as a starting point to the business, rather than as an end product that will earn you enough revenue over the coming years to be a stand alone product.

Take a look at the table of contents of your eBook. Each chapter can be turned into a teleseminar, as well as a chapter in a workbook. Explaining and guiding others through your information will earn you more money than sales of the eBook alone.

Another thing to consider is that for every online business that is successful there are at least one hundred more that are not. Don’t get too attached to your idea. Be flexible and be willing to move on if one idea does not catch on. This may be the best piece of advice you can ever follow.
