What to Do When You Encounter Annoying Hiccups and Discouraging Bumps

One step in front of the other. Focus. One step in front of the other. Focus. One step…

The successful path to info product creation means to keep going even when you’re unsure, tired, overwhelmed, and definitely, cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel. You know there is a purpose to your journey. But at times, it seems as if you cannot quite grasp it and reel it in. Instead of bringing your product or project to fruition, you find yourself challenged because it keeps expanding due to annoying hiccups and discouraging bumps along the way.

What has been a blessing is knowing—and reminding yourself constantly—that others have been down this path before, and that they have succeeded in scoffing at the same hiccups and bumps. They did not let them get in their merry way. They were confident that the light would start shining through. And so must you be, too.

We often wonder why does it seem so much easier for others? Such thoughts usually coincide with preparations for our preliminary pity party. We even wonder why do our bumps seem more like boulders?

We also understand that there will be wider and longer paths, with more hiccups and boulders, that we will conquer in our lifetime.

And we accept that each path, each journey, begins with one step in front of the other. Focus.
