Starting an online business can be exciting, but it can also be frustrating at times. No matter what topics or niche you are planning on specializing in, there will be so much to learn and the learning curve will most likely be steep. The best way to achieve the success you are looking for is to work with an online mentor or coach.
I have been mentoring people who want to build an online business since 2007. This a process I enjoy very much. I believe you need to be very patient with people to do this right. It’s also fun to explain how to use technology, article marketing, blogs, and social networking over and over again.
Students who do the best and achieve the most success are the ones who take the initiative to learn exactly what they need to learn on a regular basis. They ask specific questions and then follow through with action. They listen to suggestions on how to improve what they are doing, and move along rather nicely in their online business. They develop a strategy and stick with it over time.
There are also students who begin learning online, most with excellent intentions, but then become discouraged or do not take action. Many times they will blame others for their lack of success. Until they decide to take responsibility for their business, it is almost impossible for them to become profitable. Become a problem solver instead of a complainer and you will enjoy success.
If you are thinking of working with an online mentor, do some research to find out what each person has to offer. Decide what is important to you – one on one coaching, weekly group trainings, a membership site – and find out if this is available. Make sure you are ready to accept constructive criticism and are willing to work hard. If this is the case, an online mentor can help you to achieve the business success you are looking for.

Hello Connie. Thanks for the invite to Saturday’s shopping cart webinar. Wondering, I downloaded an ebook from Gutenberg.org, it’s a long text file with no page breaks. How could I format it into a PDF, and put a cover on it?
