We’re all familiar with the term ‘prime time’. On television it is the hours between 7 and 11 in the evening, when most people are viewing. Advertisers must pay a premium for their commercials to be aired during this time.
Prime time for you to write is the time of day that you can be the most productive in the shortest amount of time, while still enjoying the writing process. I am at my best first thing in the morning, so that is when I am posting to my blogs, writing articles, and working on my next special report. If you asked me to write at 9 or 10 at night, the quality and quantity of what I would produce would be at my very lowest.
So how do you determine when your own ‘prime time’ occurs? Wait until you have a couple of days off from whatever you are doing full time right now, and then do some writing. See which time of day sparks more creative ideas. Keep a journal over this two day period of what you wrote, how long it took, and how you felt after you were finished writing. I look forward to hearing from you on this topic.

This is easy. I write best from 7pm to 2am, after most of my research, networking, and procrastination is complete. There’s just something about the darkness of night that allows me to become more productive.

My prime time is between 5PM and 2AM. I’ve tried writing while the sun is up and it just doesn’t work. I do my research and record my videos during that time of day.
