Blogging on your niche topic is the way to build visibility online. You may have great intentions when you first set up your blog, but after a few months it may be more difficult to come up with fresh new ideas on what to blog about. Here are some ideas to keep your blog in top shape so that readers will want to return.
Write about topics that are relevant to your niche. People will only stay on your blog and consider signing up for updates if you provide information that can help them in one way or another. Resist the temptation to blog about your personal life, unless there is a point and a connection to what your blog is about.
When you have ideas for blog posts that you know your readers will learn something from, post as many as you can using your blogging platform’s advance posting feature. Both Typepad and WordPress have this feature, and this can be a way to post twice as much by doing it in fewer sittings. This is called ‘batching’ and makes a lot of sense in the business world.
Make a schedule and plan out your blog post topics in advance. I like to plan about a week in advance so that I have time to think about the content and resources to include in each of my posts.

Finally got my 2 blogs going yesterday. Up until past midnight so good timing for your article. So much to do and so little time, but this is all new and definitely fun.

I decided to check out what you are doing. Scanned from the top down to this article. Read this article. Clicked to read the rest of the article only to find that I’ve done the exact same thing before. There has to be a message in there somewhere. Thanks, Bill
